  • Step 1: Turn off the gas supply.
  • Step 2: Set the temperature dial on the gas control valve and thermostat to the lowest setting.
  • Step 3: Remove the door panel.
  • Step 4: Remove the screws that are securing the manifold assembly to the combustion chamber.
  • Step 5: Disconnect the thermocouple- the tube- igniter wire- thermal switch.
  • Step 6: Remove the manifold assembly and release the burner.
  • Step 7: Remove the pilot tube from the pilot bracket.
  • Step 8: Using the old pilot tube assembly as a guide.
  • Step 9: Route the new pilot tube- thermocouple- and igniter wire through the manifold assembly.
  • Step 10: Bring everything back in reverse order.
  • Step 11: Follow the instruction located on the lighting instruction label
  • Step 12: resume the operation.
  • Step 13: Finish.
